The e-Office Mission Mode Project is one of the Mission Mode Project under the National e-Governance Plan.The project aims to improve productivity, quality, resource management, turnaround time and increase transparency by replacing the old manual process with an electronic file system.

Bihar Aadhar Authentication Framework(BAAF) is an umbrella framework which enables all Aadhaar based transaction in the state which will help service providers authenticate identity of residents electronically, in a safe and quick manner, making service delivery more effective and efficient.

The Government of India has approved the Scheme for establishing State Wide Area Networks (SWANs) across the country. Under this Scheme, technical and financial assistance were being provided to the States/UTs for establishing SWANs to connect all State/UT Headquarters up to the Block level in a vertical hierarchical structure with a minimum bandwidth capacity of 2 Mbps per link.

Department of Information Technology has set up a private cloud to provide better application hosting services to various Departments of Government of Bihar. It will help to optimize IT resources at the state data centre, which in turn will also help in enhancing citizen’s experience in terms of using different G2C online services.

Sec LAN or Secretariat Local Area Network is a Local Area Network for all the Government office in and around Secretariat (SecLAN) and connectivity to State Data Centre (SDC) at Technology Bhawan, Bailey Road, Patna. It is used to extend the success of computerization for Government of Bihar.
